Property Tax Notices Have Arrived

If you live in the Bartow County area, you probably received your property tax bill in the last couple of days.  If your property taxes are escrowed into your monthly mortgage payment you will need to contact your mortgage company and forward them a copy of the tax bill. A contact phone number or email can be found on a previous statement from your mortgage company or their website. If your property taxes were reduced this year you will also want to bring this to the attention of your mortgage company in order to adjust your monthly payment. 

Property taxes are reviewed by the county each year by request.  I offer a service each Spring to prepare the paperwork for you to have your property taxes reviewed and possibly lowered.  This has to be completed after the first of the year and before the end of April.  I will put out reminders of this service starting in February 2011.
